I have been told that I have a good balance of being light-hearted, genuine, and serious. I want you to know that you can be open about your struggles without judgment while knowing that I can handle the intensity of life’s challenges that you experience. Life is a process, and so will our therapeutic relationship! I will help you learn how your strengths can help you recognize, understand, and challenge or break out of negative patterns that you are struggling with.
My primary experiences include working with children and families in Philadelphia and the greater Philadelphia area. I have had the honor of helping at-risk youth, young adults, and their families; this includes BIPOC and LGBTQ+ teens and their families experiencing difficulties navigating family changes. I work with helping families to fix patterns in the home that have led to conflicts.
Additionally, I work with adults to process relationship concerns, anxiety, depression, and traumas. You can only imagine how events and traumas that occur in a person’s childhood can affect them in adulthood. I enjoy helping adults understand the relationship between their current interaction patterns in their adult life and how those patterns developed. Work can be done to break those patterns, no matter how old you are! There are so many parts that make up who you are as a person as it relates to your identity and how you relate to the world; I would love the opportunity to help you grow into a more confident and assertive version of yourself.
The primary (umbrella) modality I use is Eco-Systemic Structural Family Therapy (ESFT) to understand and treat the impact of traumas on relationships. From there, I will frequently use Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Person-Centered Therapy to work with individuals and/or families. I look forward to understanding you, your child, or your family more deeply by exploring how your upbringing, trauma, and interpersonal patterns affected how you got stuck in a life you’re not happy with.
My only goal is to help you become a better version of yourself, or your family, to have the tools that they need for success in life!

Intergenerational Patterns
Do you know what intergenerational patterns are? In a sense, people are nothing more than organic machines. That is to say, machines and computers follow patterns to function. These patterns appear in the codes written when programming a machine or computer. In the...
