Transparent Fee Structure
Invest In Your Growth
At The Better You Institute, transparency is a priority. Our fee structure is straightforward; our rates reflect the caliber of therapy services you’ll receive and the clinician’s level of experience, ranging anywhere from $100-275/session. We believe in making quality psychotherapy services accessible to those who strive for excellence in their careers, family, and life. This is why we offer a limited number of reduced fee slots and have a Pay What You Can Program.
We recognize the busy schedules and high demands that come with executive roles, successful professionals, legal practices, and medical professions. To accommodate your demanding lifestyle, we offer flexible scheduling options, including evening and weekend appointments. Our goal is to ensure that accessing psychotherapy fits seamlessly into your routine, allowing you to prioritize your mental health without compromising your professional commitments or sacrificing precious time with your family and friends.
Our team of therapists is well-versed in providing confidential and expert support to professionals in executive, corporate, legal, and medical fields. We understand the importance of maintaining privacy, and our office is designed to offer a discreet and secure environment where you can explore personal and professional growth.
We partner with Thrizer.com to make out-of-network benefits feel in-network. The moment you pay, Thrizer files the claim and advances your expected insurance reimbursement, so you owe only your co-insurance, not the full session fee. No superbills, no waiting weeks for a check, just concierge-level care matched with concierge-level billing clarity.
At The Better You Institute, transparency is part of our concierge-level care. Under the No Surprises Act, you are entitled to a Good Faith Estimate of the cost of services before your first session.
That means:
- No unexpected bills. You are only charged for the appointments you attend or if you late cancel or no show within 24 hours of your scheduled appointment.
- You will know your appointment fee up front at the time of your consultation.
Sliding Scale & Reduced Fees
Accessible Therapy
For Your Budget
We believe that quality care and psychotherapy should be accessible to everyone. We cannot avoid certain costs due to the business’s overhead, including ensuring our team gets compensated appropriately. However, we try to work with you to get a manageable fee. Each clinician has a set number of client slots at a reduced cost. You can fill out our Reduced Fee Application Form if you need financial assistance. The reduced fee calculation is based on total annual family income and expenses.
Victims Compensation Assistance Program
If you are a survivor of a crime in Pennsylvania, we are here to offer you a comforting message and a ray of hope. The Pennsylvania Senate recently passed a bill introducing an important program specifically designed to provide counseling services for victims of a crime: sexual assault, physical abuse, mental or emotional abuse, and crime.
This program covers the expenses of therapy services (up to $10,000) that you may require on your path to recovery. We understand that seeking healing can often come with financial barriers, but this program aims to remove those obstacles. By taking advantage of this opportunity, you can access qualified therapists, like the clinicians on our team, who will help guide you through the healing process. Remember, you are not alone in this journey.
Let this program be a source of comfort and support, enabling you to embark on a path of healing and restoration.
Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Services
Offering EAP for
Employee Wellness
At the Better You Institute, we are partnered with Employee Assistance Program (EAP) companies, offering services designed to help your employees manage stress, anxiety, relationships, and work-related challenges.
Our solution-focused counseling supports well-being and performance through brief, strategic sessions. Our EAP therapy programs meet the needs of your workforce with professional, timely mental health support.
Our EAP services offer a comprehensive range of support services, including individual counseling for stress management, coping strategies, relationships, and more. We also provide couples therapy, family therapy, and child or teen therapy. Whether you are dealing with personal issues, work-related stressors, or simply seeking guidance for self-improvement, our team of experienced therapists is here to provide confidential and compassionate support tailored to you and your goals.
Your employer partners with a 3rd party EAP company to connect you to us. The two EAP agencies we partner with are ERC Counselors & Consultants and Health Advocate. Employees can access free (paid for by your employer) counseling services through scheduled appointments, either in person or virtually, based on their preferences, by reaching out to their EAP and getting paired with us.
Typically, our clients get anywhere from 3 to 8 sessions paid for by their employer through their EAP. Our goal is to empower employees to overcome challenges, enhance well-being, and contribute to a healthier, more productive life. While a few sessions can be insightful, we have found that most EAP clients transition into long-term clients because their well-being needs extend beyond the employer-paid EAP sessions.
Invest in your mental health, contact us today to learn more about our EAP programs and how it can benefit you and support your mental health journey.
We are partnered with ERC Counselors & Consultants and Health Advocates. Check with your company to see if they are partnered with one of these companies and if you have an EAP available to you.
Do all of your psychotherapists see EAP clients for therapy in Philadelphia?
Yes, all of our master’s and doctoral therapists take EAP clients. Our interns do not see EAP clients.
