Hi there! My work is deeply rooted in helping people navigate the complexities of relationships. I am especially passionate about couples therapy, marriage counseling, and family therapy, and I enjoy working with partners and families as they make sense of patterns, communication dynamics, and emotional disconnection. I approach therapy from a systemic and relational lens, meaning I look not only at the individual, but at how relationships, family systems, and life contexts shape what brings you to therapy.
In my work with couples and families, I aim to create a collaborative, grounded space where all voices can be heard. Whether you are navigating recurring conflict, intimacy concerns, life transitions, or feeling stuck in familiar relational cycles, my goal is to help you slow things down, gain clarity, and move toward healthier, more connected ways of relating. I also have a strong interest in sex therapy and supporting young adults and couples as they navigate major relational and developmental transitions.
I support clients in exploring how past experiences, family dynamics, and current stressors show up in present-day relationships. Rather than focusing solely on symptoms, I work to identify patterns that repeat between partners or within families and help clients develop more intentional, satisfying ways of engaging with one another.
Originally from Kansas, I earned my bachelor’s degree in psychology from Kansas State University before relocating to Philadelphia to pursue my graduate training in Marriage and Family Therapy at Thomas Jefferson University. I am excited and honored to work with clients at The Better You Institute during my internship and to provide relationally focused care within the Philadelphia community. Outside of the therapy room, I enjoy spending time outdoors, trying new recipes, and connecting with loved ones.
As a developing intern and clinician, I value curiosity, reflection, and ongoing learning. I actively integrate supervision and feedback into my work to ensure thoughtful, responsive care. I feel grateful to walk alongside couples and families during meaningful moments of growth, healing, and change.
