Healing is a non-linear process, with an ebb and flow of ups and downs as we navigate the world, our relationships, and ourselves. As a systemic and relational therapist, my perspective consists of exploring a person or a relationship system’s context of intersectionality (ethnicity, race, culture, gender, sexuality, etc.), attachment, family of origin, power and privilege, and environment. My style of therapy is warm, collaborative, and insightful, designed to help you feel acknowledged and grounded, promoting your healing. I will compassionately push you forward with more directness when needed or slow things down when we think it is time to pause.

My work is overarchingly relational. I draw from therapy models such as Emotionally Focused Therapy, Attachment-Based Therapy, Contextual Therapy, and Narrative Therapy. Emotionally Focused Individual Therapy (EFIT) is an attachment-based approach that helps individuals reshape their inner world and strengthen their key relationships. By working with emotion—the core driver of experience and connection—EFIT creates lasting change in how clients view themselves, trust others, and build confidence. Guided by the science of attachment, EFIT offers a clear path toward deeper security, self-acceptance, and more fulfilling relationships.

I keep trauma-informed practices in mind throughout the process. In addition, I consider it important to build a strong, trusting therapeutic alliance with one another. I typically come in with a set level of support to help you, but I tend to adapt to fit your needs. I also think staying open to receiving feedback throughout our time together is crucial.

I completed an undergraduate degree at the University of Colorado Denver, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Human Development and Family Relations. Following this, I completed a Master’s in Couple and Family Therapy at Drexel University, where I am pursuing a Ph.D. in the same field.

My clinical experiences include working with diverse individuals, couples, and families, addressing attachment injuries, relationship patterns causing distress, and other systemic difficulties. In research, I have experience in topics such as gender-based violence in LGBTQ+, health and aging, substance use, and couples transitioning to parenthood. In both settings, I acknowledge myself through reflexivity and Person of the Therapist, which recognizes each person’s uniqueness through self-reflection and curiosity about my personhood.

I am originally from Southern California and identify as queer, brown, and neurodivergent. In my free time, I enjoy playing video games, being out in nature, going to music events, long road trips, having silly, goofy moments, spending time with loved ones, and going down rabbit holes on Reddit.
