Professional Development With Depth and Intention

A practice you help build. Where you grow, we grow.

Thoughtful Support for Therapists, Supervisors, and Future Leaders

The Better You Institute is a small, growing private-pay practice built around relational, depth-oriented therapy. We believe that building a practice and a career is a shared responsibility between clinician and company, not something either side carries alone. If you’re looking for the support and community of a group practice, along with a genuine voice and power in where that group goes next and real room to grow as a clinician, a professional, and a person, we’d love to talk.

Your Development with TBYI

What Growing With Us Looks Like

Here’s what we bring to the table before you bring anything to us:

  • 20-30 clients within your first 3-6 months
  • Ongoing monthly intakes
  • Individual Supervision (for pre-licensed clinicians)
  • Group Supervision
  • In-House Trainings
  • Team Meetings to build connection and stay informed
  • Feedback loops that shape the team, the business, and everything in between
  • Marketing and Intake Support
  • EHR and CRM Platforms

You’re not starting from zero with us. From there, we’re looking for clinicians who’ll build alongside that foundation through community presence, referral relationships, and the reputation you build with clients and colleagues. As the practice grows, so does the opportunity here. Clinicians who help build this practice are the ones positioned to grow into leadership roles within it, and your clinical interests and ideas genuinely shape where we go next.

Who Thrives Here

  • Culture fit:

    • Clinicians who want the support and community of a group practice, not the isolation of solo private practice
    • Individuals who see caseload-building as a partnership, not something that should happen entirely without them
    • Those looking for real upward mobility: leadership and management opportunities as the practice grows
    • People who want their voice and specialties to genuinely shape where the practice goes
    • Clinicians who pride themselves on introspection, internal growth, and who invite personal challenge
    • Therapists who are accepting of all populations as clients, colleagues, and people

    Clinical fit:

    • Psychotherapists drawn to relational, depth-oriented work
    • Therapists who use a systemic lens as the base of their work
    • Couples, sex, and EMDR therapists

    Logistics:

    • Licensed or pre-licensed therapists in PA, NJ, and/or FL
    • Therapists who live or are willing to relocate to Philadelphia, PA
