I am a Sex Therapist and a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in person in Philadelphia or virtually in Pennsylvania with over 15 years of advanced training and experience. I specialize in helping high-performing couples move beyond disconnection, repeating conflicts, and intimacy struggles to achieve lasting, meaningful change. I work with the power couples who want to move beyond surface-level fixes and build deeper trust and renewed passion in their relationships.
You’re the couple everyone thinks is “solid.” You show up. You handle it. You’re productive, responsible, and capable.
And privately? You might feel overwhelmed, disconnected, lost, and lonely. You are the couple that looks successful on paper but is struggling internally. You both can’t shut your brains off, and you’re carrying a lot of responsibility. Burnout, irritability, emotional numbness. Perfectionism, overthinking, people-pleasing. Imposter syndrome and self-doubt that don’t stay neatly contained, but start to shape how you relate to each other.
You love each other, but your relationship feels like a set of logistics now. Like a business meeting. You keep having the same fight, and even when you make up, the distance returns. You’re productive… but not okay. And you’re tired of “communication tips” or generic coping skills that don’t touch what’s actually happening underneath.
I work exclusively with couples like you: high-achieving, deeply committed, and quietly disconnected, not because you don’t care, but because stress, survival mode, and old attachment patterns have taken over the space where closeness used to live. What once brought you closer is now driving a wedge between you. I help you figure out what stays and what goes, and what to replace it with.
You will be expected to delve into your attachments and possible traumas in an experiential way, with a focus on real change. We slow down the cycle you’re stuck in and get clear about what’s driving it, the protective strategies, the nervous system responses, the unspoken fears, and the moments where you lose each other without meaning to. Then we build something sturdier: emotional safety, clearer communication, and a relationship that feels like a partnership again, not a performance.
If you’re thinking, “I want depth, not generic coping skills,” you’re in the right place. And if you’re reading this and thinking, “This is exactly us,” I’d be honored to help you find your way back to each other.
My Clinical Approach:
I blend warmth with direct, outcome-driven guidance. Using attachment-based, trauma-informed, and process-oriented therapy, I support couples in moving past old patterns into emotional intimacy and a secure, sustainable foundation, one that can weather both the boardroom and the bedroom.
Clients describe me as “real” in session, compassionate, validating, and also willing to challenge and hold you accountable to your goals. This balance helps couples feel heard and understood while gaining practical tools and new experiences that create lasting second-order change: the kind of transformation that reshapes how you connect at your core.
Therapy Models & Signature Framework:
- Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT)
- IMAGO Relationship Therapy
- Gottman Method Couples Therapy
- Relational Life Therapy (RLT)
- Our Signature Framework
First-Order vs. Second-Order Change:
- First-order change involves behavioral shifts, doing more of what works, less of what doesn’t. It is ‘top-down processing.’
- Second-order change is deeper: it transforms your patterns, worldview, and emotional experience by resetting your nervous system. This is where real, lasting growth happens. This is ‘bottom-up processing.’
Process-Oriented/ Experiential Therapy:
Rather than just talking about your challenges, I help you and your partner create new experiences in the session through moments of connection, repair, and understanding. We slow the conversation to uncover patterns and attachment history underlying your conflicts, turning unspoken needs and fears into opportunities for healing and growth.
Whether you’re seeking weekly therapy or a Philadelphia couples therapy intensive, this process-oriented work provides a blueprint for genuine repair, reconnection, and thriving together.

For couples seeking faster breakthroughs, I also offer couples therapy intensives in Philadelphia, focused, immersive sessions that allow you to work through patterns in real time without the stop-and-start of weekly therapy. Intensives give couples the opportunity to fully engage the process, reach clarity, and leave with renewed connection and concrete tools to sustain change long after.
Your Philadelphia Intensive Couple’s Package includes:
- Complete assessments through questionnaires and open-ended surveys
- A workbook to follow along and fill out to have as a reminder and accountability tool
- Each partner will get one individual therapy session (50 minutes each)
- A personalized plan for the intensive session
- 3 or 4 hour intensive to do a deep dive into your root pattern and healing
- Aftercare plan
A 3-hour intensive package is $2,000, and a 4-hour intensive is $2,400. For couples continuing with additional intensives (who have already completed the initial evaluation), the investment is $900 for a 3-hour session and $1,200 for a 4-hour session.
Availability is limited and scheduled as needed, with appointments booked at least one month in advance. A 50% deposit is required at the time of booking, and the remaining balance is due one week prior to your intensive.
